Why me, Lord? Is it possible that something's wrong with MY WHOLE DVD PLAYER (better not be, that thing cost $275) because I put in a dvd I never watched before and it kept glitching.

Is there such a thing as a dvd player cleaner?

I got to bed at 4:30AM and was woken up by the RA on my floor at 11:30AM who was blaring music and dancing in the hallway. I called the front desk and they made her stop. Didn't feel so well once I woke up...

So I walked down to the cafeteria to get some food because I thought maybe if I had a really good, big, varied meal I might feel better? So I was going to get a sandwich, and strawberries, and cookies, and... and it's not open on Saturdays anymore.

So I work the desk 4PM-8PM and then midnight-8AM.

Don't feel well.

Really wish I'd gotten my sandwich and stawberries and cookies. :_(

Ok less hysterical now because after fishing around online and the facebook marketplace I have come to find that I can buy all my textbooks for under $50, instead of slightly under $500. That maketh me to become happy.

Moving day is Thursday the 23rd! By the way.

I dropped my art history class. Therefore I am only registered for 18 hours now. I'm such a slacker. I have some new school stuff and I organized my ginormous school binder last night and I think I want a new backpack because I'm tired of my shoulder bag and it's falling apart anyway.

And I'm just made of money like that.

Bargain shopper that I am I found the two-disc Disney Sleeping Beauty dvd for muy cheapo.

Therefore I don't need my one-disc one that glitches anymore. Do you desire to pay $5 to see if the music store can fix it?

I shall soon be sending to The Mother a list of books to order for me because I went to the bookstore today to buy books and it was going to cost $500 to buy only five books. I almost sat down in the store and cried. The German text for the German class that is not even required cost $191. USED. So I buy online.

There was a small boy maybe 2 or 3 in front of me in the line at the Bursar's Office singing the Imperial March at the top of his voice much to the amusement of the ENTIRE line of people. It reminded me of when Mark used to sing "I Am Lord Darth Vader's Tie." :P

I'm very sleepy. I think I could sleep all the time. I'm not ready for class to start yet.

They've repainted the entire downstairs. It's now a bright sky blue and a browny-pink. The floor is still tan/purple/green tile. Ew.

Three student volunteers keyed into my room while I was asleep. I'm afraid I called one of them a rather rude name. The girl in front just stood there after having unlocked my door and entered my room without warning and said they were going to start switching mattresses in occupied rooms today. No kidding. So I glowered at them all and took all the sheets off the beds and they took the mattresses away and one of the guys was trying to be nice and he looked at my Star Wars posters and said "I have those posters! Do you like Star Wars?" And I wanted to say "NO, I just have the pictures on my walls."

Instead I told him to GET OUT. I was ASLEEP for crying out loud. >:O

Ok so this poster I ordered online, I have not paid for it yet, but I got this message from the seller saying she has received my payment and shipped my package. I also have feedback praising my speedy payment. O_o

I haven't sent any payment though.

So today before having pizza Rachie came and we went to a fancy scrapbooking shop since we had basically already bought everything from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Everything was so expensive in the shop but it all looked like things we needed to make our books look good. :P And since it was for artistic purposes and would be preserved for all posterity in heirloom family books, and since it would really add a lot to the pages, since we wouldn't be able to find those things anywhere else, well, we were perfectly justified in buying expensive scrapbook things.

Well we didn't buy anything.

Did I mention this started out as a free hobby? Our alternative to going to the mall and spending money all the time. *snort*

Me hopes the present for the Large Brother will be here in time. If not, well... TOO BAD! :P

I desire to recover my bag of candy from Grandmother's living room where it is being held hostage against my will. :P

Fishie

I think Ive is a very interesting fishie. If someone stands beside his bowl,he always faces the person is standing, and if you walk around to the other side he will follow.

He's very fat. He needs more space.

Me and Rach we worked on our scrapbooks and I finished the pages of fencing and also started the pages of when we pretended to be tourists.

I said I would have lunch with my new roommate tomorrow but I have to work so late and I'm already really tired I'm going to tell her maybe MONDAY will be a good day and I feel bad because I can hardly ever pick up the phone when she calls cause I'm workin or something. *sigh*

So Sirius Black Fish seems like he's pretty happy all alone now. He swims around a lot and stuff and seems to have gotten over the fact that he killed his wife. I think I'll go get him some little female fishes anyway though because the petco man said he should have some friends.

I want an aquarium tank. Ivan has outgrown his bowl. Ivan has the bamboo now and Sirius has a little rock cave thing with holes to swim through.

So I have some new FISHES! :D Oh I still have Ivan, he's fine (at least six months old and still perky). But I have some new fishes too. They are very cool. I have a new ginormous fishbowl and a pair of swordtail fishes in it. They are pretty neat. And they have a bamboo in there with them because the other kinds of live plants I used to buy for Ivan died really easily.

I still like Ivan better than them though. :P

I hope somebody remembers to come drive me to see Mr. Thrash tomorrow. 9:30. O_o

Unfortunately I was very asleep when La Madre called this evening. So I did not get to eat one bit of pizza. :_(

All the Orientation Guides are moving out so it is getting pretty lonely around here. All the CA's that are going to be RA's next year are leaving soon for their RA training and so there won't be that many of us around. That is so sad. I like working here because I have lots of friends. :)

I've decided I like sharing a bathroom with my suitemate because I don't have to lug all my bath stuff down the hall every time I have a shower. But then again I have a super clean suitemate right now and RT does NOT have a reputation for people being clean so I probably wouldn't like it so much during the school year.

I wish I was rich. Then I could spend tons of money decorating. But I've found a bunch of stuff that didn't cost very much and so it looks so nice. *beams*
