Hallo
I'm kinda working on my scrapbook wasting time because I'm tired of being disgruntled.
We washed all our dishes and vacuumed the floor. I really want to develop some film but I'm afraid it will be dark when they are ready to be picked up and I don't want to walk back in the dark because I'm scared. Of creepies.
I had a present for my small brother I forgot to bring to him yesterday. It is one of those balloon squishie things and it has skulls in it. >:P
I don't know what else to say because I'm boring. I'm a bad influence on my roommate. She always ate really healthy til she started living with me and then I started leaving chocolate candy and goldfish crackers in the room and now her grocery cart is a lot less healthy. :P

RIP Sirius Black Fish (and Bellatrix)
I'll stick to goldies from now on.
Received my first German exam grade this morning. I made 108%. :D :D :D
Unfortunately I have hurt my back very badly. The upper back. It hurts very much. I would appreciate a phonecall from some kind soul to tell me how to make it better because it's hard for me to find unoccupied computers to use. It hurts to swallow and take deep breaths a lot. Please help.

Hallo!
Haven't been on here in a while.
Roommate went to the game today. I did not.
Tired.
Fishie wife #3 getting too much attention. Sirius Black Fish is too enthusiastic. Fishie wife cannot even go to the surface to eat without getting chased around. Too bad.
19 hours of class. I'm such a slacker.

And little freshmens. ^_^
Unfortunately not so any updates after today since I won't be onlineable. :_(
I need a wireless card.
I have chocolate cake from the grocery store. I had it for breakfast. Yum yum.
And what else.
Packing.
And orientation for my job at the cafe.
Give my pretty cat a big squashy hug from me. She would probably like one from Daddy. ^_^

Is there such a thing as a dvd player cleaner?

Blech
So I walked down to the cafeteria to get some food because I thought maybe if I had a really good, big, varied meal I might feel better? So I was going to get a sandwich, and strawberries, and cookies, and... and it's not open on Saturdays anymore.
So I work the desk 4PM-8PM and then midnight-8AM.
Don't feel well.
Really wish I'd gotten my sandwich and stawberries and cookies. :_(

De de de
Moving day is Thursday the 23rd! By the way.
I dropped my art history class. Therefore I am only registered for 18 hours now. I'm such a slacker. I have some new school stuff and I organized my ginormous school binder last night and I think I want a new backpack because I'm tired of my shoulder bag and it's falling apart anyway.
And I'm just made of money like that.

dvd
Therefore I don't need my one-disc one that glitches anymore. Do you desire to pay $5 to see if the music store can fix it?
I shall soon be sending to The Mother a list of books to order for me because I went to the bookstore today to buy books and it was going to cost $500 to buy only five books. I almost sat down in the store and cried. The German text for the German class that is not even required cost $191. USED. So I buy online.

I am Lord Darth Vader's Tie...
I'm very sleepy. I think I could sleep all the time. I'm not ready for class to start yet.
They've repainted the entire downstairs. It's now a bright sky blue and a browny-pink. The floor is still tan/purple/green tile. Ew.
Three student volunteers keyed into my room while I was asleep. I'm afraid I called one of them a rather rude name. The girl in front just stood there after having unlocked my door and entered my room without warning and said they were going to start switching mattresses in occupied rooms today. No kidding. So I glowered at them all and took all the sheets off the beds and they took the mattresses away and one of the guys was trying to be nice and he looked at my Star Wars posters and said "I have those posters! Do you like Star Wars?" And I wanted to say "NO, I just have the pictures on my walls."
Instead I told him to GET OUT. I was ASLEEP for crying out loud. >:O

Song.
Jimmy wasn't really popular
He had a couple of friends back home
And sooner or later they're all getting out so he had to join up alone
He was dreaming of the Ivy League since he was only three feet tall
And get the hell out of jersey and then he would never look back at all
And then your hear 'em sayThat miles away
We lost another one that we sent with a gun
They're gonna miss him he was two weeks from twenty and there's still no shame
From the man to blame
Jimmy never had a reason to stay
Cause all the factories shut down
All he had was a line for his name
So he could sign away his right to be proud
He tried to kiss her on the way out the door
She just put her little hand on his face
I don't understand why you're leaving, she said
But I hope your gonna ask me to wait
And then your hear 'em say
That miles away
We lost another one that we sent with a gun
His lady missed him, he was two weeks from twenty and there's still no shame
From the man to blame
Jimmy's mother went to Capitol Hill
So she could fill her heart up with joy
Maybe shake a few hands while she's there and tell them thank you sir for taking my boy.
And then your hear 'em say
That miles away
We lost another one that we sent with a gun
His mama missed him he was two weeks from twenty and there's still no shame
From the man to blame
No there's still no shame
And we're all to blame
We're all to blame
We're all to blame
We're all to blame
We're all to blame.

Bizarre
I haven't sent any payment though.
Blink...
So today before having pizza Rachie came and we went to a fancy scrapbooking shop since we had basically already bought everything from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Everything was so expensive in the shop but it all looked like things we needed to make our books look good. :P And since it was for artistic purposes and would be preserved for all posterity in heirloom family books, and since it would really add a lot to the pages, since we wouldn't be able to find those things anywhere else, well, we were perfectly justified in buying expensive scrapbook things.
Well we didn't buy anything.
Did I mention this started out as a free hobby? Our alternative to going to the mall and spending money all the time. *snort*
Me hopes the present for the Large Brother will be here in time. If not, well... TOO BAD! :P
I desire to recover my bag of candy from Grandmother's living room where it is being held hostage against my will. :P
I have already eaten half a box of blueberries.

Fishie
He's very fat. He needs more space.
Me and Rach we worked on our scrapbooks and I finished the pages of fencing and also started the pages of when we pretended to be tourists.
I said I would have lunch with my new roommate tomorrow but I have to work so late and I'm already really tired I'm going to tell her maybe MONDAY will be a good day and I feel bad because I can hardly ever pick up the phone when she calls cause I'm workin or something. *sigh*
I have to go to the bank
I have to go to the bank
How many times do I have to say
I have to go t the bank?

Who met an unfortunate and untimely end whilst being unmercifully chased and harassed by Sirius Black Fish.
When I get back upstairs from working he... I mean she... will be flushed.
Sirius Black Fish is sulking. He has no one to play with now.
Ivan the Terrible is a happy perky fish. Six months and counting.
Regards.

I still like Ivan better than them though. :P
I hope somebody remembers to come drive me to see Mr. Thrash tomorrow. 9:30. O_o
Thanks for the comments because I thought you had to buy an international one from the bank but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to go in and look stupid. :P
You will all like my pair of little swordtailfishes. Male and female. You will have to look at them. :)

Unfortunate
I like right now especially the Plantation Mint teabags in that assorted box of tea.
I feel like I want to go to England and see all the Harry Potter sites.
All the Orientation Guides are moving out so it is getting pretty lonely around here. All the CA's that are going to be RA's next year are leaving soon for their RA training and so there won't be that many of us around. That is so sad. I like working here because I have lots of friends. :)
Hrm
Ay ay ay ay I have something cool to show and tell at the UnBirthday party. :D
I think I've seen "300" enough times to last me forever. That's everyone's favorite movie for some reason. I'm tired of it now.
Last Orientation today! Little Freshmen. ^_^
I've decided I like sharing a bathroom with my suitemate because I don't have to lug all my bath stuff down the hall every time I have a shower. But then again I have a super clean suitemate right now and RT does NOT have a reputation for people being clean so I probably wouldn't like it so much during the school year.
I wish I was rich. Then I could spend tons of money decorating. But I've found a bunch of stuff that didn't cost very much and so it looks so nice. *beams*

Next to last Orientation today! Woo hoo little freshmen! :P
I miss getting emails from my small brother. :_(
I think I'm obsessed with decorating my dorm room. Too bad I'm on such a tiny budget.

*stretch*
Sleeping Beauty theme is going well... that satin pillow came and this one came:
Which regrettably also has Cinderella and Snow White on it, but it was the perfect colors and it did not cost very much. But for everything else I JUST want Sleeping Beauty on it. It's so hard to find stuff with JUST Sleeping Beauty on it, I have come to find... I never noticed she is NOT the most popular of the disney princesses. I wonder why that is, she was always MY favorite. Other people have poor taste. You'd think Sleeping Beauty bedroom stuff would be easy to find. But noooo. And mostly everything with her on it also has Cinderella, Snow White, or Belle on it too. Blah. I found some posters and a couple of other pillows online though. But I'm a miser. I hate spending. *gloom*
So the joke here right now is people asking "So Hannah who are you married to today?" because that's my easy way out of every bizarre creepy guy situation-- "I'm married." :P Pretty funny. But it works. Even creeps respect marriage. LOL!
I think I want to get some books. Some books I never read before. I want to read some more books by Thomas B. Costain, and I want to read Dracula and Death Comes For the Archbishop and A Clockwork Orange because I never read them before and I think it would make me feel smart to read some more books I never read before.
Our number or CA's has disintegrated by 5, for one reason or another, since the beginning of the summer. :(
Alas no Harry Potter party yesterday.

Why would anyone want a ringbearer pillow for their wedding that had a black rose on it? *death*
Because they're a Muggle.

Sa-weepy!
Me sleepy but my paycheck will be good! I got a RAISE! Because minimum wage went up. So my miserly self is looking for any extra shifts to add extra money onto my paycheck. Besides it's not like I'm doing anything else (sleep? sleep is for morons) so I might as well sit at the desk and make money yes? It is nice to be busy and help out and make money. >:)
I now have about 20 million LCA guys living on my floor. They have all been really nice and polite! But there are so many of them! 800! The place is crawling!
So that's why I didn't answer the phone when La Madre called this afternoon I had my phone off since I was at check-in.
All my coworkers are reading Harry Potter. Vilay's almost done with the 5th one and Alla's almost done with the 7th.
Trying to develop my Sleeping Beauty dorm theme without spending oogles of money. I've found some pretty inexpensive stuff and that makes me happy like this :D
Someone should call me and let me know what time we are having a birthday party. I think I can come about 6PM? *wonders what time the birthday party is*
I don't recommend Pan's Labyrinth. I don't mind blood and gore except for torture, and there's torture scenes in that movie, and I don't do torture scenes. *barf* Battles yeah. Torture no. *squeamish*
Ok see you later :)

He always lets the Quaffle in
Diet soda keeps you healthy yessirree. But I hate diet soda. :P
Potter marathon Saturday?! You peeps are so silent!
Found a silverware organizer at Target for $1.99 that fits in a drawer! Cheers! Away from the dust and grime of the air! YAYYYY clean dishes!
And Shelby doesn't care, she's sweet and precious. Her reply was "If anyone's mad I'll just dispell all hard feelings with my magical wand." Yeah. Cause THAT works so well in repairing the damage she might have caused someone's Harry Potter experience...
Target has the book for $18 right now!
I'm really glad I went to the midnight party. It was the last chance and I always wanted to do that so I'm really REALLY glad I got to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Harry Potter Marathon
So I finished Harry Potter. I can't wait to develop the pictures I took at the party! :D
Trying to add pink and turquoise/disney Sleeping Beauty decoration to my room without spending lots of money. Target has LOTS of pink and turquoise dorm stuff right now! I bought the pink plastic 3-drawer storage-mobile thing from Target because it was half the price of the turquoise one at Bed Bath and Beyond and there were only TWO of these pink plastic things total in all the local Targets. So rather than take all summer and decide and not be able to get it cause someone else bought them both I spent $12.99 of my hard-earned cash on it...
I also found some throw pillows on ebay for very good prices and so I ordered them too...
And I hung the pink and turquoise paper lanterns from my ceiling. There is a wooden square with two screws in the ceiling where the OLD smoke detector used to be before they replaced it, and I hung the lanterns from the two screws. Easy as cake. And they look really good!
"And you SIMPLY..."
I should have an HGTV show.
So I need to know when we're going to be celebrating La Fiesta de Padre on Thursday.
Shelby J posted her status as "not believing that *insert Harry Potter plot twist*" on facebook. Thank the MAKER I had finished the book before I saw it or I would have been MAD, as it was I posted on her wall saying that it was not really kosher for her to post the ending to the most popular book in history on her facebook 48 hours after its release. She relplied that she was sorry if she ruined it for me but she just HAD to write that, besides, she had decided to stay offline til she finished it and assumed all other Potterfans would do the same.
So I said that she hadn't ruined it for ME, but she couldn't expect the rest of the populous to stay offline just because SHE had decided to do that. I said that REAL fans looked down on people who spoiled critical elements of the books/movies for others.
REAL fans keep their traps shut.
Katie keeps begging me to tell her what happens (can she not go to the library?) and I'm not saying. I don't approve of spoilers.
I want that pillow I saw on the Bed Bath and Beyond website that's shaped like a heart and is turquoise and pink. But I don't remember seeing it at the Bed Bath and Beyond STORE.
Now I shall go do the key inventory.

Harry Potterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
Ok ok ok so the Borders party officially started at 9:30PM and that's when we got there. I was all official and reserved with my name on the "exclusive invitation" list. They gave me a Borders light-up glowy wand thing on a necklace and a blue wristband. And a raffle ticket. But I didn't win anything.
So I dressed up in my Hermione costume. I had my hair in braids all day to make it all wavy later. And I had on a black robe with a white shirt and my Gryffindor scarf. And there were lots of people dressed up and all the staff had on robes and one of them had on a Dumbledore hat and a beard. Some people who had considered themselves too cool to dress up wanted their picture taken with me.
And I saw lots of people I knew like Mary and Emily and Mrs. Thrash. Mr. Thrash was asleep.
We listened to the Snape Debate where people stood at the microphone and argued for which side they thought Snape was on. I said Snape was good because Dumbledore knew things we didn't and trusted him, and Dumbledore's kind of like God and wouldn't be that wrong. And the whole thing at the end of the 6th book, where Dumbledore would never beg for his life but he WOULD beg Snape to kill him and not let MALFOY do it.
They had a Harry Potter spelling bee and a costume contest. Lots of people were dressed up, lots of Harrys and Trelawneys and an entire Gryffindor Quidditch team and some Bellatrixes and dementors and one Umbridge.
It was great super fun, we had to stand in line ages though because the orange wristbanded people got to go first and then the silver wristanded people and then the blue (green, purple and pink were even later). There were a MILLION people there. But we got exclusive posters free when we got our book and since we preordered we got 40% off ticketed price so it was only $18 instead of $34.99. Pretty cool.
Everyone here at work has been reading it and we're all really sad it's the last one. The inside of the front cover reads "We now present the seventh and final installment in the epic tale of Harry Potter."
The dedication says "The dedication of this book is split in seven ways:
To Neil
To Jessica
To David
To Kenzie
To Di
To Anne
And to YOU, if you have stuck with Harry until the very end."
I'm so excited! I was going to stay up all night to read since I got the night off from work but I got so sleep around 5AM that I went to sleep 'cause I wanted to enjoy it instead of being barely awake.
And so we must have a Harry Potter marathon, except is hard to find a day I don't have something in the exact middle of the day to mess it up and we get in trouble if we miss staff meetings...

*yawn*
So me and Abby had lots of fun yesterday! We hung out at her apartment and then hung out at her housesitting house and played with the two dogs and three cats and looked at the turtle and found the Methodist hymnal on the piano and played straight through it. Then we went to sleep at 5AM on the "trundle bed" (I need one of those) in the upstairs guest bedroom. Pretty fun.
I like my pretty cat. I am working on a Lexie page in my scrapbook.

Hallo
I'm gradually making my pink and turquoise room a pink and turquoise Sleeping Beauty room. Because all I ever do in my room is SLEEP. *grins* So now I look for disney Sleeping Beauty things. I don't care if that seems like a kid idea, I like it. And it's already pink. And that's my favorite disney movie. I have it on dvd now. We should watch that too.
I LOVE that Bigelow assorted teabag box. It's almost gone. Right now I REALLY like the green tea that was in that box. I drink tea or coffee when I work at the desk and so my delicious teabag box is almost gone.
I'm going to buy some guppies and keep them in a goldfish bowl and watch them multiply scandalously.
Ivan The Terrible always faces whatever way a person is standing. Whatever side of the bowl I stand on, he faces there... it's strange. He knows somebody's there...
New singer I like:
http://www.amandamarshall.com/
Me and Rachel, we went to Dillard's and tried on lots of pretty formal dresses on sale for $20 each and she could wear all of them but I couldn't wear ANY of them. *grumble*
Harry Potter movie stank. It was like a really long preview. Or a patchwork quilt of Harry Potter. At least they put the Dursleys in!
The other night I had Rachie spend the night and we stayed up and partied wildly (ok, so we watched movies and worked on our scrapbooks) til 4AM and then we were exhaustified and went to sleep but at 5AM for the FIRST TIME all summer the fire alarm went off. *creepy man's voice:* "Please walk to the nearest exit. Do not use the elevator."
"Do not pass go. Do not collect two hundred dollars."
SO me and Rachie got up and walked all the way dfown seven flights of stairs at 5AM and then since I was on duty that night (figures I'm on duty the night of the fire alarm) I got to key into everybody's room and make sure nobody was hiding in their rooms.
Toby was on duty too. He's from Australia, so he volunteered to "ring" the "fire brigade" for us.
There wasn't really a fire, by the way.
There wasn't a fire the next day either when the alarm went off at 6:30AM. I was at the desk. And it wasn't the creepy man's voice alarm, just the annoying piercing wailing alarm, which meant nobody had to go outside. But I couldn't figure out how to shut it off. I've shut it off before and what I did LAST time wasn't working. So I "rang" for "police services" (lol) and the policeyman came and HE couldn't figure out how to turn the alarm off EITHER til he "rang" one of his "comrades" down at "police headquarters" who told him how to do it.
And so... and so...
I need to do the key inventory.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=charlotte+church+baby
And so, and so... today me and Rachie went and bought some scrapbooking things for our scrapbooks. We bought:
1. 12x12 paper
2. Stickers
3. Glitter glue
4. Adhesive photo borders
Oh yes much fun.
And I got an email from my small brother, even bigger fun.
Oh yes and we also ate at IHOP.
Did I mention *yawn* I saw "Transformers" *yawn*
Thursday, July 5, 2007
Oh look I'm posting! :D
Yes.
When I went to the grocery store, I got pimento cheese... and... it reminds me of being a little kid at Grandmother's house. *beams*
I read an article about NPR. It made me laugh. "We hear all the time from people who say they talk back to their radios. I’ve had young people tell me they remember from when they were little-bitty that they could sing the theme from "All Things Considered." People send us pictures of their babies and tell us how their first words were, "I’m Robert Siegel." (http://www.medialifemagazine.com/news2001/may01/may07/4_thurs/news4thursday.html)
Someone please volunteer to come take a picture of me and Rachel walking across the street at the intersection of Patterson and Central. For some reason it reminds us of the picture of the Beatles crossing that crosswalk in London. And we want that picture for our scrapbooks.
Thanks to my small brother for the Denver pictures.
I really feel like watching that old animated movie of "The Phantom Tollbooth."
Today I accomplished four Very Important Things.
1. Heather and I went to the Residence Life office and straightened things out so I can move directly into her 6th floor room and not have to move twice
2. Got my school email account fixed
3. Got all my money from my job- past paychecks
4. Deposited all of said money in bank
It is nice to feel like I'm accomplishing stuff.

A Tale of Two Tourists
It was SO funny.
We got cameras and went downtown to the Visitors' Bureau and I went up to the desk. "Excuse me," I said to the dude, speaking in a very proper british accent. "Excuse me but we're trying to photograph the river and it's so hard to take a picture with all those telephone poles and wires and things in the way of the view, where can we go to take a picture like we see on the postcards?"
The guy asked if I knew where Main Street was, and when I said no he proceeded to start telling me all about Memphis and its fabulous attractions. All we wanted was a telephone pole free shot of the Mississippi. "Thank you for your time," I said, chickening out too much at the end to add "gov'ner."
Rachel tapped me on the shoulder and gave me this really dumb look like a cow so I "translated" for her all that the visitors' bureau guy had just told me--in what I hoped sounded like Chinese. Rachel beamed at the guy and gave him a peace sign.
So it looked so pretty outside we really did want to photograph the river, and we kind of thought it would be neat to ride the riverboat too, so we walked across the dangerously uneven cobblestones to the riverboat. Two ladies were walking off the boat as we got there and I said, once again in my very proper british accent, "excuse me, can you tell me how much it is for a ride?" and the lady smiled and helf out the brochure, pointing to the cost that said $18. "That's 18 of THESE," she said, waving a dollar bill. I opened my mouth to say a very proper "I'll pass then, thanks" but Rachel got the brilliant idea of saying "oh my!" in what she obviously thought was a british accent, which EMBARRASSED me to no end because THEN the two ladies realized we weren't really from England at all. Imagine, a british asian who can't even speak with a proper accent.
We gave up on the river and walked up toward all the buildings, and we went in the Cotton Museum. We looked around in the gift shop and I asked Rachel in my british accent why there was a collection of cotton on display for people to look at. I supposed it was because we hadn't SEEN any cotton growing since we got to America and so it must be really rare.
I decided to conduct a small experiment to test the extent to which a vendor will lie to a tourist.
I picked up an Elvis CD and took it to the counter. "Excuse me," I said to the guy in my little british accent. "I was just looking for some music and I was wondering if this is what normal American girls listen to. Is this popular with regular American girls?" And the guy said "Oh yes, we can barely keep those in stock, girls love that stuff."
I was very polite and I thanked him but after we left, Rachel and I were disgusted that he would say that. Neither of us has ever met a girl close to our age who likes Elvis. That guy was just trying to sell us his overpriced CD. What a scandal.
We went in Peabody Place and took pictures of a bunch of stuff. I asked the girl in Starbucks if American girls listened to Elvis and she LAUGHED and said no. I said I had heard girls loved Elvis in America and where could we find Graceland? The Starbucks girl didn't know.
Lesson #1: People really do lie to tourists to sell their crap.
Lesson #2: People who work in tourist-infested locations have no idea where anything is.
A woman stopped beside us at a stoplight heard us talking and asked us if we had been to see such-and-such a museum yet, and we said no, but we were wondering why cars drove on the wrong side of the road, and why steering wheels were on the wrong side of the cars? She said she had no idea, but that she was so happy we had come to town to see the place where Elvis was born and raised. I almost disrupted our experimentation to tell her in my plain old Memphis accent that Elvis was not born and raised in Memphis, but had merely started his career there, and that he had actually been born in Tupelo, Mississippi.
I DID ask her if Memphis was famous for anything but Elvis, and she said, "yes, the shopping!"
Obviously regular Memphians don't think so much about BB King, BBQ, or anything else that starts with BB. Not that I can think of anything. But forget about all the REAL tourist stuff. People recommend Elvis (although they have no idea where Graceland or Sun Studio are, and they have no idea that Memphis was not Elvis' hometown), and shopping (even though the shopping venues they recommend have the exact same shops you would find anywhere else).
Well we would have LOVED to stay and conduct more experimenting, but at 7PM we decided to leave downtown before it got dark and the creeps came out to play. We thought we'd get closer to the Pyramid and take pictures of it, so we made the first left turn we came to--sinxe the Pyramid was to our left and all. We ended up on the bridge taking us to Arkansas. We didn't find a place to turn around for FIVE MILES into Arkansas. We REALLY felt like two clueless tourists then.
So we had dinner in Arkansas and congratulated ourselves on the success of our first day as Memphis tourists.

A bargain for $700.
29. Learn ballroom dancing
30. Find a restaurant that has a dance floor, like A REAL DANCE FLOOR, people, not some sleazy club full of beer and disgusting people, I frown on clubs, I frown like this >:(. I am talking about a REAL restaurant where respectable people go that has a place for people to actually DANCE in, not wiggle around like fish out of water wearing practically no clothes while loud headbanging music plays. Preferably this fabulous restaurant will have a live band.
31. Actually make it through a Disciple group. I have attempted to do so twice and both times have been dismal failures. I think it would probably be nice actually getting to FINISH said Disciple group.
32. See all that musical stuff in Salzburg
33. Figure out how to make wheat bread turn out as good as white bread always does, that stupid wheat flour makes my bread mess up and I want to know what I have to do to make it turn out edible
34. Float around in the Dead Sea
35. See the Grand Canyon

And she said "we love you!" so she must like me now and so now I feel ok because someone who used to hate me now thinks I'm pretty nice.
So tonight for several stupid reasons I had to walk by myself from Richardson to West to work the West desk from midnght-4AM, and so I called up Amanda to talk to on the way so I wouldn't be alone and I saw these two scary looking guys in ball caps on the other side of the street as I was walking. And I watched them as I walked and I started walking faster and they were walking together... and they started crossing the street to MY side and I didn't like that one bit so I sarted crossing over to THEIR side so we could just switch sides... and they kind of split up so one was walking toward the back of me and one was walking toward the front of me and I got really scared so I decided to let out a piercing shriek and I ran REALLY fast into the closest building which was NOT West Hall but SMITH Hall, where my friend TOBY was working. And I told him what happened and he called Police Services and then he walked with me over to West Hall and I was too busy running to watch where the two creepy guys went but still I wasn't very interested at the time in finding out where they were going, I was more interested in running fast and getting Toby to protect me. O_o So I decided never EVER to walk across campus in the dead of night EVER again even though it seemed like it would be ok at the time.
I never walk across campus by mself because I'm scared, but tonight I waited at the Richardson Towers South desk for 15 minutes for Ashley to come down and walk with me but then it tured out she was working a double shift so she had already BEEN over there for 4 hours, and she was the only other person working across campus. Tiger Patrol was so tied up they said they couldn't be there for 15 minutes and by that time it was already 11:57 so I was so afraid I was going to be late for my shift and get written up I went across campus alone. O_o So I figured it would be ok just once. NOT!
Now I've decided I'd rather try to weasel out of a write-up than get mugged and killed by some guy. Mabe those two guys weren't planning on mugging me but the way they split up in the road scared the CRAP out of me.
